Attention WEVA Junior Members, Parents and Coaches,

In following directives from USA Volleyball, the WEVA Board of Directors is informing you of the cancellation of all sanctioned USA Volleyball activities (including but not limited to events, practices, team activities, individual training sessions or anything covered by USA Volleyball insurance) through April 15, 2020. USA Volleyball is monitoring the situation daily and will continue to provide updates on a regular basis on the following site: https://www.teamusa.org/usa-volleyball/features/usa-volleyball-response-on-coronavirus

Please note that New York State mandates regarding gym and facility closures will obviously supersede any USA Volleyball directives.

We are aware that some club directors have already informed members of season plans going forward. WEVA will continue to evaluate the situation and keep club directors informed as changes occur in the event that they wish to resume operation in some capacity.
